Rebecca Keros
2nd AD
Rebecca is a multi-skilled film, television and advertising freelance technician and creative from Sydney, Australia. Her experience extends across all areas of the entertainment industry including Theatre, Motion Pictures & Film, Advertising & Television film, Music Video Production and Direction, Producing and Writing and Directing.
She has assistant directed on such projects as Angelina Jolie's motion picture 'Unbroken', 'The Inbetweeners 2', Alex Proyas' 'Gods of Egypt', Russel Crowes' 'The Water Diviner', 'The Light between Oceans' starring Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender, 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5', Ridley Scotts' 'Alien: Covenant', 'Pacific Rim: Malestrom', 'Riptide' 'Shang Chi & The Legend of The Ten Rings', 'Spiderhead' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder'. Rebecca was 1st AD on Tropfest short, 'Love, Steve' among many other TVC's, short films and music videos.
In 2016, Rebecca continued her work on 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5', travelling to Vancouver to work under 1st AD Chris Castaldi.
Rebecca has worked on many commercials, advertisements, television dramas & mini-series including Modern Family, Home & Away and Rake. In 2017 Rebecca spent three months in Fiji working with an international crew on TBS's American comedy series 'Wrecked S2'.
Rebecca worked as 2nd Unit Second Assistant Director on Ron Howards, Thirteen Lives, a role that combined her business mind with her creative knowledge to support Ron Howard. This executive level position is just one of the many 2nd ADing jobs Rebecca has undertaken since 2017 when she was 2nd AD on long-form comedy 'Sando' produced by Jungle in Sydney, Australia. She went on to 2nd AD 2nd Unit on ABC Networks 'Reef Break, starring Poppy Montgomery among other major productions.
In between assistant directing, Rebecca is also a seasoned production coordinator/cast coordinator in the commercial world. Her credits include working with director Paul Middleditch on the MLA Spring Lamb campaigns. She has coordinated TVC's for numerous other major brands including ANZ, Vodafone, Fox Sports, Telstra, David Jones, Aldi, Huawei, Commbank, Mirvac and Apple.
